Predicting 2033: Initial Q-Day Prediction

I summarized my latest research on Q-Day predictions in this article Q-Day Predictions: Anticipating the Arrival of Cryptanalytically Relevant Quantum Computers (CRQC). Based on all of the papers I’ve read, I believe that we are closer to Q-Day that previous public papers predicted. I am reducing my estimate to 10 years from now.
